| Reverse description | A ceiba tree, the national tree of Honduras, stands at center, dividing the denomination 50 C. on either side of its trunk. Crossed olive or laurel branches curve beneath the tree at the base of the design, while five-pointed stars are positioned at the upper left and right flanking the tree's canopy. The commemorative legend arcs around the upper and lower periphery, with the independence date 15 DE SET. 1821 and the silver fineness 0.900 inscribed along the lower exergual area. The motto DIOS UNION LIBERTAD appears as the primary circumferential legend. |
