| Reverse description | Printed entirely in steel-blue intaglio, the reverse is dominated by an elaborate symmetrical guilloche design composed of interlocking lathe-work rosettes and scrollwork, with floral medallions at the corners and upper edges. The central cartouche, framed by ornate engine-turned borders, carries the denomination inscription in two lines. Numeral '50' appears in guilloche panels to the left and right, and the printer's imprint 'BRADBURY WILKINSON & Cº Lº GRAVADORES LONDRES' runs along the lower margin. |
