| 备注 |
The Banco Nacional Ultramarino served as the privileged issuing bank for Portuguese overseas territories, and this 50 Centavos note is one of the few low-denomination wartime issues actually printed in Mozambique rather than sent from Lisbon. The Imprensa Nacional de Moçambique handled production locally — a practical necessity given wartime Atlantic shipping disruptions, though the result is noticeably cruder than metropolitan-printed BNU issues of the same period.
At this denomination, purchasing power was already marginal by 1941, and the notes circulated hard and fast. Worn examples are the rule; anything approaching uncirculated is genuinely uncommon for P#80.
