备注

This note belongs to a short-lived series issued under the Perón government at a moment when the peso's purchasing power was eroding fast enough that a 50 centavos note had limited practical utility even at issue. The Casa de Moneda — Argentina's own mint — printed the series domestically using offset rather than intaglio, a choice that reduced production cost but also meant the finished notes lacked the tactile resistance to wear that engraved currency provides. Offset-printed paper circulated out quickly in Argentine conditions.

Renato Garrasi, who handled design work for several Argentine issues of the period, is credited here. The series was withdrawn relatively soon after introduction as inflation continued climbing through the early 1950s.
