| Obverse description | Letterpress-printed in black on plain paper stock with a decorative border of interlocking geometric and floral guilloche patterns framing the entire note. The text "Series of 1943" appears in a single line at the top centre, with the denomination numeral "50" at each upper corner and red serial numbers printed vertically along both side margins.
