| Obverse description | Predominantly purple on light green underprint. The Argentine national coat of arms, within a laurel wreath vignette, is centred at the top. The denomination '50' appears in large numerals in each upper corner, with the text 'CENTAVOS' beneath. The central legend reads 'LETRA DE TESORERÍA / Cincuenta Centavos' in bold letterpress, with the issuing authority 'LA PROVINCIA DE MENDOZA' and the clause 'RECONOCE AL PORTADOR' flanking the central panel.
