| Reverse description | Plain reverse centred on a square central perforation enclosed by a raised square inner rim, with a broad flat field between the inner and outer circular rims. A single crescent-shaped mark is visible in the lower field below the square hole, serving as a mint or batch identifier, as catalogued under Hartill 14.106. Additional smaller crescent or pellet marks appear flanking the square hole at the left and right positions, and a further crescent is discernible above the square hole, giving the appearance of multiple crescents in the field. The outer rim is slightly granular from the casting process, and the surfaces display a warm brown patina with localised green oxidation. |
