Obverse description Dark intaglio print on pale guilloche underprint. Left vignette shows a church and cattle scene; right oval vignette bears a seated male figure, possibly Vulcan or a miner, at an anvil. Date "Enero 1º de 1900" and place "Oruro" appear in manuscript within the central panel, with Series A serial number repeated twice.

Reverse description Printed in brown on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a central intaglio vignette of the Bolivian national coat of arms — an oval shield with condor above, flanked by cannon and flags — set within an elaborate guilloche border. Denomination numeral "50" appears in large figures at left and right, with the issuer name split across top and bottom margins.
