Description du revers	A central oval intaglio vignette presents the crowned Lion of Judah couchant, the imperial emblem of Ethiopia, holding a cross-topped standard; the vignette is flanked by large multicolour guilloche rosettes at left and right. Denomination numerals '50' appear in the upper corners, and an Amharic inscription is contained within a ruled panel at the base of the central vignette. A repeating text band reading 'STATE BANK OF ETHIOPIA' runs along the upper border, the whole enclosed within an engraved decorative frame.
