Obverse description The coat of arms of Macau occupies the central field, depicting the Portuguese royal shield surmounted by a mural crown of five towers, set against a stylized armillary sphere rendered in low relief. Chinese characters for 'Macau' (澳門) flank the shield on either side. The denomination '50 AVOS' is inscribed in bold lettering along the lower periphery, while the legend 'MACAU' arcs across the upper rim, accompanied by small five-pointed stars as separators. The entire design is framed by a beaded border.
