Beschrijving voorzijde	The national emblem of the Lao People's Democratic Republic occupies the central field, depicting a stylised landscape with a hydroelectric dam, paddy fields, and forest, enclosed within a wreath of rice stalks tied at the base with a decorative ribbon. A hammer and sickle appear at the centre of the emblem, surmounted by a five-pointed star. The circular legend in Lao script reads 'ສາທາລະນະລັດ ປະຊາທິປະໄຕ ປະຊາຊົນລາວ' (Lao People's Democratic Republic), running along the periphery of the coin.
