The Sociedade Numismática Paranaense issued this commemorative exonumia piece to mark the organization's 25th anniversary — a regional collectors' society based in Paraná, Brazil, with the "Araucária" denomination a purely notional unit named after the araucaria pine native to southern Brazil's plateau region.
