| Obverse description | Central design features a radiating sunburst motif with stylized geometric rays emanating from a central medallion bearing the Roman numerals 'XX' within a laurel wreath, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Abkhazian victory. The upper field is decorated with a scattering of five-pointed stars against a frosted background.
