| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a bold silhouette composition depicting a soldier ascending rocky terrain while triumphantly raising a flag, evoking the Abkhazian victory in the 1992–1993 war. The heroic figural scene occupies the central field and is rendered in a stark, high-contrast matte silhouette style against the polished gold ground. The Abkhazian word 'АИААИРА' (Victory) arcs prominently across the upper field in large Cyrillic lettering. The dates '1992' and '1993' flank the central design along the lower left and right respectively, each separated by a raised star, commemorating the period of the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict. The overall design conveys a strong sense of national pride and military commemoration. |

The 50 Apsars denomination exists within a currency that has no legal tender function outside Abkhazia's internationally unrecognized borders — the apsar was introduced in 2008 purely as a collector and prestige instrument, never entering circulation. The "Victory" referenced here is the 1992–93 Georgian-Abkhaz war, which ended with Abkhaz forces, backed by Russian volunteer units and North Caucasian fighters, expelling Georgian troops and the majority of the ethnic Georgian population from the territory.
That political reality — a state recognized by only a handful of UN members — gives these gold issues their peculiar character: sovereign in aspiration, numismatic in practice.
