| 备注 |
The Banco de Angola was established in 1926, making this 1927 note among the earliest issues under that institutional name — its predecessor, the Banco Nacional Ultramarino, had managed Angolan currency for decades prior. The transition involved a deliberate rebranding of colonial financial authority at a moment when Lisbon was consolidating control over its overseas territories under the early Salazar-aligned administration.
Thomas De La Rue's involvement is characteristic of the period; the London firm handled a substantial portion of Portuguese colonial currency printing throughout the 1920s. The P#74 series is scarce in any grade, partly because Angola's tropical climate was punishing on paper stock.
