背面描述 A finely detailed naturalistic depiction of a wild boar in profile, facing left, shown foraging with its snout lowered toward rocky ground, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished black field. The animal's bristled coat and muscular form are rendered with exceptional sculptural detail. A Mongolian script inscription appears in the upper field above the boar. A decorative horizontal band with a reeded or beaded motif separates the central design from the lower field, where the date '1995' is inscribed in large numerals. The reverse is framed by a plain raised rim.

附加信息

The 1995 Mongolian lunar series entry for the Year of the Pig was part of a broader wave of high-karat gold issues produced by post-Soviet states and newly independent nations during the 1990s, many of them struck at European mints under contract rather than domestically. Mongolia had no meaningful gold coin minting infrastructure of its own at the time, and these large-format issues were primarily instruments of foreign exchange and collector revenue rather than anything approaching circulation coinage.

At five troy ounces of .9999 gold, production numbers were almost certainly extremely low — though verified mintage figures for this specific issue remain elusive in the major references.
