| Reverse description | The reverse carries the same all-over guilloche underprint of interlaced knot-work and floral rosette panels as the obverse, rendered in a darker grey-black tone. At centre, an oval portrait vignette contains a three-quarter facing bust of an unidentified elderly male dignitary in formal attire, executed in fine letterpress, surmounted by a decorative bow with crossed laurel sprigs and a ribbon banner reading 'Notgeld WANNE'. The denomination '5000 Mk.' is repeated in large bold letterpress vertically along both the left and right margins. |
