背面描述	The reverse is occupied by a black-and-white photographic vignette of the rocky Palatinate Forest landscape around Annweiler, with the prominent sandstone outcrop of Asselstein in the centre foreground and the ruined hilltop silhouettes of Trifels, Annebos, and Münz castle visible across the wooded ridgeline in the background. A green letterpress overprint of the denomination "50 000 Mk." runs centrally across the photographic image. The whole is framed by the same green scalloped border used on the obverse.
