| Obverse description | Against a mirror-polished black field, the outer zone of the obverse is dominated by a bold close-up rendering of snake scales in high relief, evoking the texture of a serpent's body and framing the central design. At the centre, a raised circular cartouche depicts a detailed view of Pha That Luang, the celebrated golden stupa of Vientiane, rendered in fine relief. The curved legend BANK OF THE LAO PDR arcs across the upper portion of the inner cartouche in Latin characters. In the lower field, below the cartouche, appear the Moscow Mint logo (ММД), the fineness mark Ag 925, the denomination 50 000 Kip, and the date 2025. |
