| Obverse description | Central field depicts a detailed view of Pha That Luang, the iconic gilded Buddhist stupa of Vientiane, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished background. The stupa is shown frontally with its tiered spires and surrounding wall with smaller stupas at the corners. The curved legend BANK OF THE LAO PDR arcs across the upper field in large Latin letters. To the lower left, the fineness mark Ag 925 appears vertically, and a mint monogram is present in the lower right field. The denomination 50000 Kip and the date 2026 are inscribed in the lower exergue, flanked by two raised dots. |
