| Obverse description | The obverse features a coloured animated cat character dressed in a dark business suit, depicted in a contemplative pose with one paw raised to its chin, set against an engraved urban skyline with stylised skyscrapers in the field. To the upper left, a circular inset cartouche displays a detailed rendering of a Southeast Asian temple or stupa with the curved legend BANK OF THE LAO PDR around its border and the date 2024 below.
