| Obverse description | Central depiction of Pha That Luang (the Great Stupa of Vientiane), rendered in high relief against a polished black field, with its characteristic multi-tiered tower and surrounding smaller stupas faithfully represented. The curved legend 'Bank of the LAO PDR' arcs along the upper rim in Latin script. The fineness mark 'Ag 925' appears vertically along the left field, while the Moscow Mint privy mark is visible to the right of the stupa. The denomination '50000 Kip' is inscribed in the lower field, with the year '2023' flanked by raised dots directly below. |
