Volksbank Ladenburg e.G.m.b.H. was a small cooperative savings bank serving a Rhine-Neckar town of a few thousand people — exactly the kind of institution that found itself issuing emergency currency during the hyperinflation spiral of 1922–1923. The 50,000,000 Mark denomination places this firmly in the late-inflation phase, after successive zeroes had made earlier Notgeld issues almost comically inadequate within weeks of printing.
Local printing kept turnaround fast but quality variable. The DeNG reference 7/8#2861a suggests documentation within the broader Baden regional notgeld corpus.
