Opmerkingen

Stollberg's Amtshauptmannschaft — a Saxon district administrative unit, not a municipal or banking authority — was among the smaller German issuers scrambling to produce emergency high-denomination notes during the hyperinflationary summer and autumn of 1923, when the Reichsmark was collapsing fast enough that fifty million marks represented, briefly, a useful transactional amount before being rendered worthless within weeks.

Ratsdruckerei R. Dulce in Glauchau was a regional commercial printer with no specialized security printing background, which is exactly what you'd expect from notgeld production at this level — local infrastructure pressed into service because the Reichsbank simply could not supply enough currency fast enough.
