| Obverse description | Salmon-pink and teal Notgeld Gutschein printed in a geometric Art Deco style, with a bold teal zigzag and chevron border framing the entire note. The issuer's name "STADT HAMBORN A. RH." is lettered in spaced teal capitals across the upper field, above the denomination "FÜNFZIG MILLIONEN MARK" in large red letterpress type. The lower portion carries a validity clause in small teal type, a circular red municipal seal of the Stadt Hamborn at lower left, the issue date "HAMBORN, 25. 8. 1923," and the manuscript signature of the Oberbürgermeister. |
