The central denomination ΔΙΑ ΔΡΑΧΜΑΣ 50,000,000 — ΠΕΝΤΗΚΟΝΤΑ ΕΚΑΤΟΜΜΥΡΙΑ is set in large bold type flanked by ornamental cross-hatched corner vignettes; the issue place and date Εν Αργοστολίω τη 6 Οκτωβρίου 1944 appear below, with a manuscript signature of the Director of the Municipal Treasury and a circular red official stamp at lower left.
