| Obverse description | The upper portion carries the issuing authority 'Stadt Giengen a. Brenz' alongside the denomination numeral '50,000,000,000' and a serial number at upper left, with the value legend 'Fünfzig Milliarden Mark' in bold letterpress beneath. A text clause states that the Stadtkasse Giengen a. Brenz will pay the bearer on demand, with validity noted until 31 March 1924 and issuance date of 25 October 1923, followed by signature lines for the Stadtschultheiss and Stadtpfleger with a circular municipal stamp at centre. The lower portion presents a panoramic vignette of the Giengen an der Brenz townscape with its distinctive church towers, flanked at lower right by a cartouche bearing the city's unicorn coat of arms within an oval roundel. |
