Obverse description Within the aluminium bronze centre, the crowned Polish White Eagle — the national arms — is depicted facing forward with wings spread, rendered in high relief against a plain field. The date '2015' is inscribed in the field below the eagle, with the mint mark of the Mint of Poland (MW) appearing beneath the eagle's breast. The outer copper-nickel ring carries the circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' at the top and '5 ZŁOTYCH' at the bottom, separated by raised dot stops.
