| Obverse description | The crowned Polish eagle with spread wings occupies the central field, rendered in a bold, high-relief heraldic style. The denomination numeral '5' appears in large figures to either side of the eagle's lower body. Below, in the exergue, the legend 'ZŁOTYCH' is inscribed in capital letters, with the date '1928' beneath it. The coin is struck within a milled border.
