Obverse description The crowned Polish eagle with spread wings occupies the central field, its talons clasping an ornate shield bearing the letter 'S', symbolic of the Strzelec (Rifle Corps) emblem. Radiating lines emanate from behind the eagle, filling the field with a sunburst motif characteristic of the interwar Polish commemorative series. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 ZŁOTYCH 5 appears in the lower portion of the coin, flanked by the numeral 5 on each side.
