| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a raised circular border set against the diamond-shaped klippe flan, the crowned Polish eagle with spread wings is depicted facing forward, its head turned to the right, with decorative tail feathers rendered in fine detail. The circular legend reads RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arching above and the date 1936 appearing in the lower exergual area. The four triangular corners of the klippe field, outside the central circle, are decorated with incuse geometric lines radiating toward each corner point, giving the piece a distinctive Art Deco character. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Within a raised circular border on the klippe flan, a large full-rigged sailing ship is depicted underway on stylized waves, its sails fully set, rendered in fine high-relief detail evoking the port of Gdynia and Poland's maritime ambitions of the interwar period. The denomination legend 5 ZŁOTYCH 5 appears in the lower portion of the circle, with the numeral 5 flanking the inscription on either side. The four triangular corners of the klippe field outside the central circle bear incuse geometric radiating lines consistent with the Art Deco design vocabulary of the obverse. |
