| Obverse description | Square klipa-format field centered on a circular inset depicting the Polish state eagle with wings spread, rendered in selective gilding against a polished ground, encircled by the legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA and the date 2016. The surrounding square field is finely engraved in antique relief style, featuring an architectural view of the Warsaw Mint building to the left, a classical allegorical figure to the right, and foliate oak branch motifs in the lower corners. At the lower center, a circular cartouche bears the royal monogram of King Stanisław August Poniatowski. The dates 1766 and 2016 appear in the upper portion of the square field, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the mint's foundation. |
