| Obverse description | Central square perforation surrounded by a plain raised rim on both inner and outer edges. To the left of the central hole, the two-character Chinese legend 五銖 (Wu Zhu, meaning 'Five Zhu') is cast in relief in regular script, reading top to bottom. The field is flat and unadorned, with a green patina consistent with ancient cast bronze coinage of the Silk Road region. |
