| Obverse description | Cast bronze coin of the 'thread ring' (線輪) type, featuring the two-character legend 五銖 (Wu Zhu) arranged in the field reading from right to left across the central perforation. The characters are rendered in clerical-script seal form, deeply cast into the narrow annular field between the large circular central hole and the plain outer rim. The coin is notably light and thin, with a broad, prominently open round perforation characteristic of this late Eastern Han to Three Kingdoms transitional variety. The surface displays natural bronze patina with areas of earthen deposits consistent with ancient burial. |
