Reverse description Fully anepigraphic reverse, mirroring the obverse in its complete absence of inscription, legend, or decorative motif. The annular field surrounding the central square hole is unadorned, with a slightly irregular rim resulting from the ancient sand- or clay-mould casting process. The surface displays a heterogeneous patina of dark brown and bluish-grey tones with minor encrustations, consistent with archaeological recovery. No inner rim line, no outer rim line, and no secondary design elements are present. This plain reverse reinforces the classification of the type as a deliberately uninscribed emergency or transitional issue.
