| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central square hole flanked on either side by a single Chinese ideogram, the two characters 銖 (Zhu) reading horizontally across the coin — one to the left and one to the right of the perforation. The characters are rendered in clerical script (lishu) in shallow relief against a flat, unadorned field. No rim inscription or decorative border is present; the outer edge is defined by a plain raised rim. The coin exhibits the characteristic flat, unraised inner rim around the square hole typical of late Eastern Han cast bronze cash. |
