Aanvullende informatie

The piedfort format — double the standard planchet thickness — was applied to this issue as part of China's broader push through the 1990s to capture the international collector market, particularly in North America and Europe where piedforts carried strong numismatic cachet. The China Mint Company was aggressively expanding its precious-metal proof program during this period, often producing piedfort variants in extremely limited quantities alongside standard issues.

KM#P26 remains one of the less-documented entries in the piedfort subset of Chinese silver issues, with reliable mintage figures difficult to confirm independently.
