The left figure strides forward grasping a wooden staff, his right arm raised in a commanding gesture, while the companion figure to the right bears arms and battle accoutrements, robes billowing dramatically. The inscription 陈胜吴广 (Chen Sheng Wu Guang) arcs along the upper left field, with 一公元前3世纪 (— 3rd century BC) continuing along the upper right. The denomination 5元 appears in the lower left field. |
