| 裏面の説明 | The reverse, printed in rose-pink, centres on an oval intaglio vignette of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, executed in fine line engraving. BANK OF CHINA arches across the upper margin, with the word FIVE in bold serif lettering occupying the upper field and the numeral 5 placed in each corner. The denomination 5 YUAN and date 1941 appear within a decorative cartouche at the foot of the design, and the printer's imprint AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY runs along the lower margin. |

The Bank of China's 1941 issues were printed in New York because Japanese occupation had severed access to Shanghai printing facilities that the bank had relied upon through the 1930s. The American Bank Note Company produced several denominations in this period for the Nationalist government-affiliated institution, with finished sheets shipped under wartime conditions across the Pacific — a logistically precarious arrangement that affected delivery quantities and, by extension, surviving populations of individual notes.
P#92 is among the more obtainable of the wartime ABNC-printed Bank of China issues, suggesting reasonably large print runs relative to the disrupted distribution network.
