Aanvullende informatie

The Renminbi was formally introduced on December 1, 1948, by the newly established People's Bank of China, consolidating a chaotic wartime currency landscape where Communist-controlled regions had been issuing dozens of competing local notes. This commemorative marks exactly seventy years from that date. The series has been issued in both coin and banknote formats, with the silver coin carrying a face value largely symbolic against its bullion content.

KM#2395 is among the smaller-denomination pieces in the 2018 RMB anniversary release, which also included gold issues.
