Description de l’avers	The obverse carries a central vignette of two figures — a male worker and a female carrying grain — set against an industrial cityscape with factory chimneys as underprint. The state emblem of the DPRK appears in the upper left, flanked by the serial number and the numeral 5 in the upper right. A commemorative overprint in English across the lower centre reads 'The 55th Anniversary of Foundation of D.P.R. of Korea / 9th. 9. Juche 92 (2003)', applied in dark ink over the standard note design.

Description du revers	The reverse presents a panoramic intaglio vignette of the Kumgangsan (Diamond Mountains), rendered in fine engraving with mist-shrouded granite peaks and pine trees in the foreground. Decorative guilloche borders frame the composition on all sides, with the numeral 5 in the upper right corner and the Korean characters for the denomination at the lower right. The issuer's name is inscribed in Korean along the lower centre.
