Obverse description Blue-grey intaglio print on a light underprint. The central vignette presents two female workers — one holding agricultural produce and the other carrying grain sheaves — set against an industrial landscape with factory chimneys. The national emblem of the DPRK appears in the upper left, flanked by the issuer's name in Korean script. The denomination numeral '5' is printed in the upper right and lower left corners, with a serial number appearing twice across the note. A commemorative overprint in English reading 'Sun's Day, Celebration 98th Anniversary 15th 4. Juche 91 (2002)' is applied diagonally across the lower portion.
