| Obverse description | Light violet note printed in a combination of typographic and intaglio styles, with a vignette of Mercury at left and Zeus at right, each enclosed within decorative frames, and the colonial arms centred at lower register. The central field carries the denomination and guarantee clause in both Danish and English, with multiple manuscript signatures applied in accordance with the issuing authority. Issued under Royal Guarantee per Resolution of 4 April 1849. |
