备注

Resplendor is a small municipality in the Doce River valley in eastern Minas Gerais — not an entity anyone would expect to be issuing currency. The "Ubérrimas" is a community scrip note, part of a localized complementary currency scheme designed to stimulate circulation within the municipal economy. Brazil has seen a wave of such initiatives at the municipal and community level since the 2000s, several supported by the Banco Central do Brasil's regulatory tolerance for complementary currencies operating below certain thresholds.

The denomination name references "ubérrima" — extraordinarily fertile — a nod to the agricultural identity of the region rather than any standard monetary unit.
