| Obverse description | Central vignette carries a portrait of Damdiny Sükhbaatar (February 2, 1893 – February 20, 1923), founding member of the Mongolian People's Party and commander of the partisan forces during the Outer Mongolian Revolution of 1921, set against a guilloche underprint. To the left, a Paiza (Gerege) — the imperial tablet of authority used by Mongol officials and envoys — is rendered in fine line engraving. The national coat of arms of Mongolia appears on the note alongside denomination numerals and inscriptions in both Cyrillic and traditional Mongolian script. |
