| Reverse description | The crowned Pomeranian griffin passant, facing left and rampant, raises an upward-pointing sword in its right talon, with wings displayed and tail curled. The date 1759 is divided across the upper field, flanked by the griffin's wings. Below a horizontal line in the exergue, the denomination 5 THALER · is inscribed, with the mint mark O·H·K· (for Stralsund) immediately beneath. The heraldic device is boldly struck and characteristic of Swedish-Pomeranian gold coinage of the period. |
