| 背面描述 | A finely detailed, high-relief effigy of a snow leopard (irbis, Panthera uncia) is depicted in full profile at the centre of the mirror-polished field, standing alert upon a rocky outcrop with its spotted coat rendered in exquisite sculptural detail. The animal faces right, its powerful musculature and characteristic rosette markings clearly articulated against the reflective background. The bilingual legend КҮМІС БАРЫС / SILVER IRBIS arcs across the upper field in Cyrillic and Latin characters respectively. The date 2010 appears to the left, while the fineness and weight inscription Ag 999,9 5 oz is positioned along the lower right field. |

Kazakhstan's Irbis bullion series launched as part of a broader push by the National Bank to establish domestically produced precious metal investment products following the country's post-Soviet development of its own refining capacity. The snow leopard — locally called irbis — holds protected status under Kazakhstani law, and the series coincided with national conservation commitments made through the Global Snow Leopard & Ecosystem Protection Program.
The .9999 fineness is notable: few sovereign bullion programs of this size committed to four-nines purity from the outset, preferring the more common .999 standard.
