| Obverse description | The state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan occupies the central field, depicting a shanyrak — the circular crown of a traditional Kazakh yurt — with radiating uyk (roof struts) rendered in fine relief, flanked on either side by the wings of mythical steppe horses.
