The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner circle, itself surrounded by an ornate outer border of alternating pellets and four-pointed stars set within a segmented ring. The bold solar motif is characteristic of the joint reign coinage of Sayyid Abdullah Khan and Junaid Khan, struck at the Khiva mint in AH 1337. |
