Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents a richly detailed scene rendered in the Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock print style, depicting the folk hero Momotaro (Peach Boy) clad in samurai armor and standing at the prow of a traditional wooden vessel, bearing a vertical banner emblazoned with his peach mon and a Japanese inscription. His three legendary companions accompany him: a monkey and a talking dog within the boat, both armed, and a pheasant in full flight overhead. The vessel sails toward Onigashima, the Island of the Demons, against a dramatic background of radiating rays evoking classical Japanese compositional conventions. The entire scene is contained within a broad border of repeating geometric motifs consistent with the obverse design.
